Greem Pharmacy Conducts Senior Usability Evaluation at Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center

On September 30, i-Scream Media conducted a usability evaluation of its senior cognitive and emotional care service, "Greem Pharmacy," with 30 adults aged 65 to 75 at the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center.

The evaluation gave senior users the opportunity to experience Greem Pharmacy's main content firsthand. It was designed to assess ease of use, content comprehension, interest, and the overall user experience, and to help create a more senior-friendly service environment.

The evaluation was held in the Cultural Content Demonstration Lab at the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center. Five sessions took place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with six participants in each session.

Participants began with a depression screening and then tried Greem Pharmacy's main digital content in sequence, including art appreciation, puzzles, drawing, and coloring. Tutorials for each activity helped participants who were less familiar with digital devices take part more easily. The program concluded with a self-portrait activity and simple mini-games.

The evaluation provided a close look at the entire service experience, from how senior users understood the tablet interface and selected content to how they completed each activity.

Participants responded positively. They said that the service was easy and enjoyable to use, that it seemed helpful for cognitive function, and that it made them want to continue.

Other participants said that it would help them spend their leisure time, that the activities were useful because they offered a sense of achievement in daily life, and that growing interest in the activities kept them from feeling bored.

These responses reaffirmed Greem Pharmacy's potential to go beyond a one-time digital content experience. The service can encourage sustained interest and participation while offering opportunities for leisure and self-expression in everyday life.
