Participants Selected for the Greem Pharmacy Senior Instructor Training Program

i-Scream Media held interviews with Bundang Senior Welfare Center to select participants for the "Greem Pharmacy Senior Instructor Training Program".

The course grew out of the positive results of the Greem Pharmacy program run this past June at Bundang Senior Welfare Center with 20 older adults. By training senior instructors who can run the program themselves, the plan is to expand it at senior centers and customized elder care service sites across Seongnam into a senior-to-senior instructor model in which older adults support the cognitive and emotional activities of their peers.

Nine of the 15 applicants were selected as final participants, and the course runs every Monday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., from July 27 to August 12, at Bundang Senior Welfare Center. Through this pilot run, i-Scream Media and Bundang Senior Welfare Center will assess both the training of professional senior instructors and the program's potential for use in the community.
